NOTICE: The Part 380 Subpart E "new CDL" driver qualification training requirement is in effect for all NEW (drivers obtaining a CDL after July 20, 2003) interstate Commercial Drivers License (C.D.L.) drivers. An "Entry-Level Driver Training Certificate" is required under 49 CFR 380.505. After drivers complete the required entry-level training (49 CFR Part 380), a copy of the certification needs to be given to the driver and a copy placed in
the driver's qualification or personnel file.
